Gorgeous vintage late 1980’s red wood advent calendar from L. Little doors that open and each door has the cutest little Christmas scene on the front. A painted-on holly garland at the top and bottom. Solid red back and sides; hanger hole on back. There are some very small nail “holes” where nails (tacks) have been hammered in but this is just part of the making of it; not an actual flaw. Each door has a small peg handle. ” The door “hinges and these tacks are metal; otherwise, it looks like everything on this piece is wood, giving it a wonderful Erzgebirge look/style! Not actually Erzgebirge; made by L. Bean marked in pretty script at bottom right, as pictured. Each little cubicle is 2.75″ wide x 1.5″ tall x 1 deep.
