Vintage Lionel Solid Wood Nutcracker Engineer, “New-Old Stock”. This Nutcracker by Kurt Adler, Officially Licensed by Lionel, was made in 2004. The first 11 photos are of the subject Nutcracker and the item you will be aquiring. The last 2 pictures are included as a Comparison only of the newer produced 2019 Lionel Nutcracker. The Original All-Wood nutcracker has some distinctions, such as a 3 dimensional real “hair-like” mustached. His Lantern is more realistic with Chrome paint all around, ventilation holes at the top and a more realistic “fire-glow”. His shoes are two-tone colored, and his hat is white with blue strips. His base is solid wood and the coal bucket scribed. A beautiful and Collectible piece. The newer 2019 produced Nutcracker has a flat painted mustache, gold painted lantern with No ventilation holes. The painted glow is less realistic and his shoes are solid beige painted with a blue cap with white stripes. There are additional differences.
